PASTEL DIVIDE - Original Card Art No. 010 — 1 of 1
PASTEL DIVIDE - Original Card Art No. 010 — 1 of 1
PASTEL DIVIDE is a one-of-one original work by De La Paz, created on premium Belgian canvas in trading-card format.
A sweeping field of pale blue dominates the composition, divided by a soft vertical current of blush pink that travels through the center of the work. Along its edges, the restrained central palette gives way to intricate formations of emerald green, yellow, crimson, black and turquoise, creating a dramatic contrast between open space and concentrated movement.
The composition feels almost geological—like a river cutting through two shifting landscapes. On one side, green and yellow cellular structures emerge through darker passages; on the other, pink, red and black formations gather into dense organic patterns. Fine lines, fractured cells and unexpected pockets of color reveal the unpredictable movement of the fluid painting process.
The broad blue passage gives PASTEL DIVIDE an unusual sense of calm within the collection, while the surrounding colors introduce tension and energy. The narrow pink line becomes a visual pathway through the piece, drawing the eye from one end of the composition to the other and separating two distinctly different abstract environments.
The fluid painting process creates patterns, cells and transitions unique to this individual work. No reproduction can duplicate the exact movement, texture and details of the original.
This is an original hand-painted artwork — not a print or reproduction. Only one exists.
The reverse of the canvas carries the artist's hand-applied De La Paz mark, is hand-stamped with the date the artwork was completed, and is hand-signed by De La Paz, creating a permanent record of the piece's authenticity and completion.
